Thanks to all for the overwhelming response to “Yoga in the Park” outdoor classes and to those who attended the first outdoor yoga class of 2021 last Tuesday in Maryknoll Park in Glen Ellyn. Though it was wildly windy, I was grateful to be teaching ‘alfresco’ on a mild and sunny day.

Because of the response and all the inquiries, I have put together a survey to better understand the needs and wants of my students for these outdoor classes. I would really appreciate your feedback. This will help me determine the best times and formats for these classes.  You can fill out my survey here:  https://forms.gle/s5BueZvuXUGq6gA27

Outdoor classes will remain “pop ups” in the spring as weather permits. As we move into summer, I will set a more permanent schedule. Keep your eye on the forecast and on your email for my notifications. If it's a beautiful day, you can bet there will be Yoga in the Park. My husband calls the Sassi Pants Yoga in the Park classes the “Eagle Fang dojo” of Yoga.

SPWING is coming!! Join me and my husband Steve virtually next week for “Raise the Roof” Spring Equinox Celebration. We will set intentions for spring and chant 108 Aums (Oms). Practice will also include supported restorative and yin postures, pranayama, meditation, mudra. After a really tough winter, let’s clear some clutter and celebrate the season of renewal. I cannot believe it, but this spring edition will be the 4th virtual 108 Aum session. We would love to see you!

Some changes to Express Surya Flow: I will now be teaching it on Wednesdays and Alethya will still teach on Mondays. Both classes are at 11:30am and could use some support if you would like them to remain on the schedule.

Though virtual class demand has slowed, and schedules have changed, Sassi Pants Yoga will still have virtual classes on Zoom. A complimentary one-week virtual class pack is available to all new students. This is good for only virtual classes and workshops. Please send me an email if you are interested in this offer and I will set you up.

This upcoming weekend marks my one-year anniversary teaching virtual classes on Zoom. As the weather warms, and the world slowly opens up, Sassi Pants Yoga is committed to sharing and teaching yoga in settings that are safe and accessible for all, virtually and outdoors. In this spirit of joy and service, we are here for you for the long haul – so don’t touch that dial!
