Dharma of Sassi Pants Yoga

There is a very good reason why yoga has been around for thousands of years. The traditions and philosophies contained within the ancient texts of the Yoga Sutras lay out a deeply satisfying design for living that is the 'juice' of yoga so the practitioner may find a strong, healthy body, and an illuminated and grounded mind even in a time of groundlessness.

Often we arrive to our yoga mats with 'yoga goals'. Perhaps we come to our mats because we would like to improve our strength or flexibility or simply pause and slow down to improve the muscle memory of mindfulness. But it is the peace found in the process that is the true benefit of yoga. Yoga should meet you where you are at physically, mentally and spiritually. Whether it means simply showing up to breathe and be or means challenging yourself with an invigorating sequence of breath with movement. There is a format for everyone. For yoga is for every body.
