Join us on the green next to the Maryknoll Park Pavilion in Glen Ellyn for a vinyasa flow to celebrate beautiful weather. Lots of space for social distance. To reserve your spot, you must sign up in advance.
This is a level 1.5 sequence that can be adjusted up and down according to how the practitioner feels on any given day. Find your freedom with your flow. Feel free to add postures in and take postures out. Breath and movement connect one posture to the other. Postures are held anywhere from 1 to 5 breaths. Beginner friendly class. YBD 1 introduces the fundamental hatha yoga poses and incorporates them in to a basic “Vinyasa flow” with an emphasis on proper alignment and breathing techniques. Students will also receive a brief introduction of yoga philosophy and terminology in this class to further their understanding of this ancient practice.
