The Beauty of October at Stonehill Farm • Final Gathering this Sunday 1-5pm

Kristin Sassi | OCT 9, 2025

As autumn settles over Stonehill Farm, the land has begun its quiet transformation. The trees at the edges of the fields are turning amber and gold, the air carries that first hint of seasonal change, and the light arrives softer, as though inviting us inward.

This Sunday, October 12th, from 1 to 5 pm, we gather for our final immersive sound bath & mini-retreat of the season. It will be a simple and beautiful afternoon of slowing down, touching peace, and being restored by nature.

A few of you have mentioned that you plan to come but have not yet completed registration. To help Melissa prepare the right amount of food for everyone, please confirm your spot by sending payment as soon as possible. Your payment is your reservation.Weather and What to Bring

The forecast for Sunday is in the high 60s during the sound bath. Because body temperature can drop during meditation, especially outdoors, we encourage you to prepare for warmth and comfort.

Please bring:

  • Yoga mat

  • Pillow or bolster

  • Blankets or a sleeping bag for added warmth

  • Layers, warm socks, hat, and a cozy jacket

  • If the afternoon warms up with sun, feel free to bring a swimsuit and towel for the pool

  • Optional: eye pillow or extra scarf

We will have a limited number of extra mats and blankets available at the farm.

The Stonehill Experience Includes

  • Gentle yoga to open the body and settle the mind

  • Outdoor sound bath meditation surrounded by prairie and sky

  • Vegan and gluten-free farm-prepared meal

  • Fresh infused herbal waters (and often fresh juice)

  • Time with the alpaca herd

  • Space for walking, stillness, reflection, and connection

Contribution: $65 per person
To reserve your space (payment confirms attendance):

  • Zelle: 312-933-8582 (Centerline Ent)

  • Venmo: @mhovey

This is our last retreat of the year, and we would love to close the season in community with you. Please feel free to share this invitation with anyone who might appreciate an afternoon of rest and renewal.

With gratitude for this season of gathering,
Kristin
