New Year, New Offerings: Renew & Restore + Yoga Nidra - Monday nights in Wheaton at Essencia Vitalis

Hello friends, and Happy New Year to all,
I’m stepping into 2026 with some beautiful additions to my schedule, and I’m excited to share them with you.
Beginning next Monday, January 12th at 7:15pm, I’ll be teaching a new permanent class called Restore & Renew – Yoga Nidra at Essencia Vitalis, the gorgeous new yoga studio in Wheaton just north of Mariano’s.
About the Class:
This class blends restorative yoga with guided Yoga Nidra meditation, supported by subtle live sound. We begin with fully supported postures that help the body soften and the nervous system settle. From there, Yoga Nidra leads you into the hypnagogic state between wakefulness and sleep, an inner landscape where deep rest and intention-setting naturally unfold.
A small, intentional selection of sound instruments: such as crystal bowls, gong, ocean drum, or monochord may be woven into the experience to reflect the imagery of the meditation. The sound is gentle and responsive, enhancing the sense of immersion without overwhelming the stillness.
This is one of my favorite formats to teach, and I’m thrilled to offer it in the heart of Wheaton.

Finally, thank you to everyone who joined our Virtual Winter Solstice Event. The journaling practice on the longest night of the year created such a warm, palpable energy—I could feel it through the screen. It was wonderful to see so many of you who aren’t able to attend in person.
Wishing you a peaceful, inspired start to the year. I hope to practice with you soon.
Blessings to all.
Kristin
