In Chicagoland, there are signs that Spring is on its way with mild weather, a greening earth and a sky bright with the light of longer days. Celebrate the Spring Equinox with Steve and me in person at Yoga on the Block, Brookfield for our "Raise the Roof! Spring Equinox Celebration" on Sunday, March 19th from 3 to 5pm. (Be sure to wish Steve a Happy Birthday!)

It is a real treat to offer our "Raise the Roof" experience in-person for the first time in over 3 years. If you haven't visited Yoga on the Block, please do. It is a lovely spot to take this passive and deeply transformative practice. They are equipped with lots of lovely props: bolsters, blocks, blankets and sandbags to help make your restorative and yin yoga experience so relaxing.

Chanting Om (Aum) at the change of the season can offer a positive shift in perspective, increase motivation, and set yogins on a path towards positive transformation.

If you haven't ever joined us for this one, don't miss out. Four rounds of 27 Aums are divided up with breaks of yin yoga, breathwork, mudras and all of the goodies. We end with a guided savasana and sound bath. I've added some new goodies to the sound bath mix, too. There is limited space. So sign up soon!
