Happy New Year, Dear Yogins!
We spend a lot of time at the end of the holiday season in reflection. At the same time, we also cast our thoughts forward as we set intentions and feel the promise of hope with the new year. As your fellow yogin, I am here to remind you to explore the miracles of each day.
Each moment we have is a gift. And yoga often gifts us this awareness.
Let’s stay locked into our practice. Stepping back into the physical yoga studio has been a long process for me over these past couple of crazy years. But I am finally returning to the studio after my hip replacement recovery. Local yogins can now catch me at the Wheaton Yoga by Degrees every Saturday morning at 10:30am for Restorative practice. I will continue teaching virtual classes at Yoga by Degrees as long as they offer them.
Finally, my first virtual workshop of 2023 is this upcoming Sunday, Jan 8th from 5 to 7 pm CT on Zoom. Join me for “Vibrant Rest: 108 Minutes of Yin & Restorative with Meditation.” Treat yourself to a decadent practice of stretching, breathing, and being. Sound Healing and guided savasana will top off the practice.

Since virtual offerings have been scaled down to two workshops a month, I will no longer offer virtual class packs; however, I will honor any active class pack purchased up to this date. Workshop pricing is still very reasonable with tier priced discounts for students, military and seniors.
Class packs for private lessons and corporate offerings are still available for purchase.
My hope is to also bring back “Yoga in the Park” in 2023. Stay tuned for details.
That is all for now. I leave you with quote from Paulo Cuelo: “We are travelers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity.”
Blessings to thee in 2023.
Kristin
