Subject: A Gentle Reminder for Tomorrow’s Restorative Sound Journey

Hi Dear Friends,
I hope this note finds you well. It’s been quite a week on my end—one that reminded me how precious rest, breath, and steady ground truly are. My husband needed emergency surgery, so I’ve been moving through the days with a tender heart and a deep appreciation for the practices that help us return to center.
I had to sub out my Friday classes, but I’ll be there tomorrow for my regular Saturday offerings and for our Restorative Sound Journey. In many ways, holding this space feels like exactly what my spirit needs too.
A gentle reminder that our Restorative Sound Journey is tomorrow:
Saturday, January 24 • 3:30–5:30pm
Yoga by Degrees • Wheaton (Rice Lake Square)
We’ll begin in soft restorative shapes, letting the body unwind and the breath deepen. From there, we’ll drift into a long, immersive sound bath featuring:
Crystal bowls & pyramids
Tibetan & Nepalese bowls
Planetary & wind gongs
Chimes & intuitive percussion
Monochord & harmonium
These sacred instruments create vibrational waves that gently guide the nervous system into deep states of rest—Theta, Delta, and beyond. It’s a spacious, soothing journey into stillness and inner quiet.
Whether you’ve joined me many times or haven’t been in a while, I would be honored to share this peaceful space with you.
Reserve your spot: Visit http://www.yogabydegrees.net and sign up under Workshops/Events.
A few helpful details to support your experience:
Doors open at 3:00pm so you can settle in unrushed.
Each participant receives a blanket and four yoga blocks (2 wide, 2 narrow).
Feel free to bring any extra props—bolster, blankets, pillows—to create your ideal cozy nest for the sound journey.
Thank you for your patience, your presence, and your continued support.
I’m looking forward to gathering in stillness and sound with you.
Warmly,
Kristin Sassi
